Just Another Day... (Open)

*BRRRINNNG...* *BRRRINNNG...*

Tyrone's alarm clock was ringing, the time on it was 7:30 PM.

Tyrone sub-consciously turned off his alarm clock and got up slowly, yawning loudly... he looked at his alarm clock for a few seconds, then sighed. "Time for work..."

Tyrone got up and put some clothes in his backpack and then put on some light blue jeans, a black plain T-shirt, and some white socks. He walked out quietly not to wake up William and put on his black sneakers, grabbed and put on his gray winter jacket and left the apartment building...

Tyrone was working as a bartender tonight at some Nightclub he recently got hired at, he would probably keep the job, considering he didn't mind working at night, he had Boxing workouts during the day so he slept straight when he got back and got up to go to work. Tyrone had no time to hang out with friends really, well, he could, but he would be too tired to go to work... he exercised to the bone when he goes to Boxing, and ends up being rather sleepy and sluggish after it.

Tyrone thought that maybe he was just not into life these days, not that he was depressed... or was it? He didn't know, he doesn't linger over it really.

Tyrone walked outside and went to his parking space, what resided in it was a black 1972 Ford Gran Torino. A fantastic car considering a lot of the others that was in this parking lot.

He unlocked the door and got in, sighed a bit, then started the car up... the Nightclub he was working at, Club Neo, it's a popular club in Metrix, Tyrone didn't know how it could look so good in a ghetto like this, eh, whatever.

He drove out of his space and headed to the Nightclub quickly, his shift started at 8 PM, and it took about 15 minutes to get there, it was close driving-wise. He had to change after he got there.

~~~~An Hour & 30 Minutes Later, 9 PM~~~~

The music was booming, the lights were ecstatic, and Tyrone served drinks every now and then while cleaning the glasses people left while they went back to the dance floor or went home with some Hoochie, it was just another day for him.

Tyrone looked at everyone around in the Nightclub and received a few looks from some girls, although he wasn't pretty nor ugly, he had a certain charm being in bartender clothes, Tyrone smiled at them and nodded while cleaning a glass, business was always a bit busy, so he wasn't bored at all really.

Allison was in the area that night, it was a long shot but she wanted to get to know her home state better and although she heard Metrix City wasn't the best place to be for a young lady around her age, it was still a part of Raiton and she wanted to get to know the place. Of course the only thing she was looking for was a dance club or somewhere she could party, she wasn't having such luck tonight but she would continue looking.

She walked passed quite a few street shops, the news agency was closed, a metal door over the opening of the ship and graffiti tags all over it. There were a lot of shops closed; the bakery, the cake shop. The hock shop and some fish and chip shops were still open though. Allison sighed at the disappointment of not finding a proper club but she kept walking.

After some time of checking the streets and looking for a club, she got fed up. There were some teenagers across the street from her who were tagging the wall of a shop, she had no intention of yelling at them to stop seeing as they could have beaten the hell out of her, she just wanted to ask them if they new were a club was.

"Hey! You guys!" she yelled to the boys from the other side of the street, the group of 4 turned around and gave her a look like they were suspicious that she was gonna tell them to stop or threaten to call the authorities on them.
"Relax! I just wanna ask you if you know if there's a club around here" Allison shouted to put the boys at ease.
One of the boys pulled off the bandanna around his mouth and smirked at her, "Well hey baby. There's one just down the street from here! Go to the end of this street, take a left across this road and keep walkin', you're bound to find it! Hell we might even catch up with you there, sweetness" he said winking at her.

Allison rolled her eyes and started walking immediately while the boys went back to vandalizing public property. As soon as Allison was around the corner, she pulled her cell phone out and dialed a number, she looked at the street sign and gave police some information about what these boys were doing and where they were, hung up and continued looking for her club.

Eventually Allison heard some music coming from the next building and followed it, it got louder and louder as she got closer, it didn't look like a very lively club and the music was a bit average but it was good enough. "Club Neo, huh?" she went in and looked around cautiously, it was ok... too bad it was filled with smoke, she wouldn't be fussy though, her feet were starting to hurt so she took a seat at the bar and observed the wood and the lights of the club, she even took a peek at some of the people and she didn't even need to order a drink. It was a sure thing that she would be asked though... It WAS a club.

As Allison took a seat at the bar, it was time for Tyrone to do his job, he walked over to her and put on a smile, "Want anything?" he said politely, he would serve her anything she wanted, unless she didn't have the money, the Bouncers don't take lightly to that...

Tyrone thought about his life sometimes, during work, on his free time, when he was trying to sleep, at random times... maybe he should go back to Boxing full-time... maybe it'll be worth it.

Allison was seriously digging the music that the club had playing, it had a tribal sound to it but the bass was pumpin'! She turned her attention to the bartender, "I dunno, I'm kinda new to the whole bars and clubs scene, surprise me" she took a big risk by asking the bar tender that, she heard that a lot of people had their drinks spiked and even so, she wasn't familiar with alcohol in general, if she was given something hard it could knock her out.

"D'ya have any water? With ice or something?" the thought of her embarrassing herself after downing a drink that she wasn't ready for just made her nervous.

*Karim had walked into the bar and sat a couple of stools away from the woman thhat had walked in ahead of him. He had felt a little more confident in his english and decided to test what he understood so far. He listened to the womans order and figured the last part was what she asked the man for.
He looked around at the other patrons and noticed he was getting a few stares for not having a shirt, but when ever he looked their direction theywould turn back to what they were doing. Kairm just turned back toward the bar and waited his turn to order.*

Tyrone nodded, "Water it is." Tyrone shoveled some good ol' ice into the glass and poured some cold water into it, then he placed it lightly in front of Allison, "Enjoy." he said giving her a smile, maybe he should start a conversation since that's what he did with people, the tend in bartender did not go unneeded, he knew that some people just wanted to talk.

"So your new to this whole kind of thing eh? Well, I bet you could find better Nightclubs in Raiton, like Sentry or Astryn for example." Tyrone nodded, "And what kind of alcohol surprise are you looking for? Hard or soft?" Tyrone noticed that another man walked in, he would help him after aiding Allison.

Allison watched the strange man walk in to the bar and kept her eye on him even as she talked to the bartender, "Yeah I just moved out of home around a week or two ago and I'm trying to get to know the world better now that I'm on my own" she smiled, "I'll have anything soft" she said as she took a sip of her water, the ice was so refreshing since she was getting a bit warm in the Metrix environment.

Allison continued enjoying the smooth electronic mix they were playing in the club, it was different from the techno she was used to, all that hardstyle stuff but despite the bad neighborhood she just ventured through, things were really starting to seem refreshing.
"You know what... I'll try some champagne" yes... That was a good choice, she heard that a lot of people drank that stuff when they had something to celebrate and Allison definitely had something to celebrate, her new-found independence. "The nicest one you have" she said she she slipped a $10 note over the bar for him. She didn't know how much one glass was but ten bucks seemed enough for one glass, "Keep the change, darling" she said with a smile.

*Karim Watched the woman and the bar man exchange words and apparently some kind of trade. He watched the conversation almost too intently and watched as she gave the bar man the colored paper. He figured this is what was used as a trading voucher for other materials. He had seen them all over the city. People would hand them to someone else and receive things back like cloth or food.
What Karim did notice the most was that the first drink she asked for did not require the paper transfer and therefore must be free. So he would have to remember what she said and find the noun in the sentence.*

OC: lol gotta love going to a bar just to order some water "I'LL HAVE THE CHEAPEST THING YOU HAVE!... Wait... You're water costs $1? WHAT A RIP OFF!"

OC: again Karim doesn't know english... yet. you gotta remember he not from a residentail area, he's from a small tribe. But yea that is kinda funny. just odereing water would probably get more stares then walking in with out a shirt... We'll see i guess.. as soon as a certain some one posts...

Tyrone grabbed the $10 dollar bill and nodded, "Thank you, I'll get it for you right now." Tyrone went to where all the alcohol was displayed and picked the best champagne out of all of them, he then popped open the cork (without a mess) and grabbed a glass, put some ice in it, poured in some champagne, and placed both the glass and the bottle of champagne in front of her, alongside the water.

"Enjoy, just catch my attention if you need anything else."

That's when he noticed the strange man waiting and decided to see what he wanted, he walked towards Karim and smiled,

"What can I get you sir?"

*Karim looked up and did his best to remember what she said.*

"D'ya have any water? With ice or something?"

Tyrone noticed that his English was shaky at best, but he didn't really care, at least he could figure out what he was saying. He gave him the same thing Allison first got and nodded with a smile, "Enjoy."

He then started cleaning some glasses and putting them back up on display, and just did some sorting and cleaning around the bar to make it look snazzy again.

*Karim Picked up the glass and expected something with a kick to it, but when he realised it was water he blinked a bit in shock. It was not like the water back home. this was more....clean. He took another drink as he listened to five other conversations in the bar. In fact the key reason he was there was to increase the speed of his learning.
After some time he decided to test his english again. He tapped the woman who was next to him.
"Excuse this. What does it mean Metahuman?"

Allison was still a bit nervous so she just took her time with the water first. It was so nice and fresh, she really enjoyed it. Allison finally discontinued her stalling to taste the drink she was given , took the glass and sniffed the contents, it had a scent she's never smelled before, "hmm" she hummed to herself as she cautiously took a sip of it. Bubbly, lemon-ish... It tasted like lemonade without the sugar. Ok, this was an ok drink, she relaxed and life went on as normal (woo).

Allison listened to the people talk as well as Karim, she started listening more intently as soon as she heard that word... Metahuman. She wasn't entirely sure what it meant herself, she herself had powers but wasn't sure if she was one of them. She wasn't exactly thrilled to find out that she was one, a lot of Metahumans and Mutants were hated by humans just cause they had powers and people were either selfish and jealous or stupid and scared.

*By the look on Allison's face he had apparently touched a fairly taboo subject. (OC: yea you . he's talkin to you) He understood what a human was but this word had no translation to his language. Perhaps it is something like the Shaman from his village. But he waited patiently for the answer. IF she answered then it should be nothing to worry about, but if she left then it was worth looking into.*

Allison knew the guy was talking to her but she kept her gaze upon her drink, thinking of a good answer. She could tell that he probably wouldn't understand seeing as his English wasn't too good, she looked at him for a moment as if to say she herself didn't know and then turned her attention back towards he drink. If she herself was one of these Metahumans, she didn't want anyone to know about it so she kept her mouth shut about her powers.

The whole subject brought Allison down a little bit, she tapped the bar to get the bar tenders attention, maybe he knew something about it himself, she waited for the man to come back and she moved some hair that hung in her face and tucked it behind her ear, "On second thought, I'll have some Whiskey, please?" she knew it was a major jump but she needed a major jump.

*Karim Say she was about to answer but then she turned away agin. Something was wrong. it may have been the subject or it may have been his translation.*

"I apologize. My words are not good?"

As he went to serve the gal again, Tyrone heard she wanted whiskey now, hmm... she was tired of the champagne already...? Well, if she paid for that too, everything was alright.

He grabbed a whiskey bottle and a glass, put it in front of Allison and nodded, "Enjoy miss." Tyrone said with his usual smile.

Allison looked at the guy, "It's ok" she smiled, knowing that he would probably be able to read body language better than words. Deep down she was really hoping someone could just tell her if she was a metahuman or not but supposedly she had a right to not to want to share it with these randoms that she just met. What if they didn't take lightly to it?

She poured herself some whiskey and downed it, shutting her eyes tight afterwards. That Whiskey went straight to her head. It only took a minute or two for her head to stop spinning.
"Hey, you guys want in on my drinks? It's my treat" she said to the bartender and the guy sitting next to her.

She obvioul kew oethin but asn't going to say just yet. he could smeel the fermentation in the air and finally understood where he was. In idea raced across his head about how to get her to talk.

"Yes. These drinks are heavy drinks yes?"
